Chair Cares: Coronavirus Prevention at our Facility

Posted on by webmaster in KS Commentary 2 Comments

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in communities across the country is a concern for us here at Karline’s Salon + Spa. Our hearts go out to all those impacted, and we want to let you know what we’re doing to ensure a safe and sterile environment for your beauty and personal care needs.

The spread of Coronavirus is through mucus membranes, eyes, mouth, and nose. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, we encourage clients who may feel under the weather to reschedule the appointment once all symptoms are clear. Along the same lines, if any member of our staff is under the weather, we’re encouraging them to stay home. We’ll call you in advance to advise if there is another staff member who can facilitate your service.

While we have always maintained a commitment to cleanliness as a best practice, to reduce the spread of germs from person to person, we’re disinfecting surfaces and sterilizing equipment more frequently, wiping down stations and chairs after each appointment, and washing towels and capes after a single-use. You will see our spa personnel wearing gloves. It is as much for your protection as it is for theirs.

We’re aware of many school closings due to the Coronavirus; however, we must kindly ask that you not bring children into the facility unless they have an appointment.

We will continue to refer to our local health department, as well as state and national health agencies, for guidance. We encourage you to heed this advice from the Florida Department of Health to do your part in minimizing the spread of Coronavirus.

Lastly, please know that our culture of hugs will resume when this crisis is behind us. In the meantime, we’ll greet you with elbow bumps and warm smiles.

At Karline’s, everything we do is with a heartfelt commitment to our clients, staff, families, and community. We thank you for your understanding during this challenging period.

Have a beYOUtiful day.
