This month, none other than the “Around the Way Girl,” the incomparable actress Taraji P. Henson, inspires us! From head to toe, inside and out, she exudes confidence. She brings it every time, in her sense of fashion, and flair for daring hair.
Here is Taraji’s biography from Wikipedia:

In 2010, she appeared in the comedy Date Night and co-starred in the remake of The Karate Kid. In 2012, Henson was in the large ensemble cast film Think Like A Man and reprised her role in its sequel.

In 2016, Time named Henson one of the 100 most influential people in the world on the annual Time 100 list. …Also that year, she received praise for her starring role as Katherine Johnson in the critically acclaimed drama film Hidden Figures, for which she won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
In addition to her award-worthy and winning work in television and film, in 2016, Ms. Henson released Around the Way Girl, a New York Times best-selling autobiography about family, friends, the hustle required to make it from DC to Hollywood, and the joy of living in your own truth.
This month, Ms. Henson stars in “Proud Mary,” an action thriller about a successful hitwoman working for an organized crime family in Boston. Her character’s life completely changes when she meets a young boy orphaned by a hit gone wrong. (Note: the picture below links to the trailer).
We have mad respect for Taraji P. Henson and are inspired by her wise words:
I’m always interested in challenging myself and pushing and seeing how far I can go.
